Terms & Conditions – At-Home DNA Test Kits

By purchasing an At-Home DNA Test Kit (“Kit”) from our website, you (“Customer”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Purpose of the Kit
The Kit is intended solely for informational and peace-of-mind purposes. The results are not a substitute for legal, medical, or professional advice. Customers should consult appropriate professionals before relying on results for legal or medical purposes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase and register a Kit. By purchasing, you confirm you are the rightful individual providing the sample
3. Test Accuracy and Limitations
While testing is conducted by accredited laboratories, no DNA test can guarantee 100% accuracy. Factors such as sample contamination, improper collection, or tampering can affect results. The Company is not responsible for inconclusive or delayed results due to customer error, postal delays, or unforeseen lab issues.
4. Collection & Shipping
Customers must follow the included instructions carefully to ensure valid results. The Company is not liable for: Lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged shipments. Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the Customer.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
All sales are final. Kits are non-refundable and non-returnable once shipped, due to the medical nature of the product. If a Kit arrives damaged or incomplete, Customer must notify Unity Diagnostics within 7 business days for a replacement.
6. Results & Delivery
Standard processing times are an estimate only and not guaranteed. Results will be delivered to the email or portal account provided during registration. The Company reserves the right to withhold results if fraud, misuse, or policy violations are suspected.
7. Privacy & Data Use
All DNA samples and results are handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Samples may be securely destroyed after testing in accordance with lab policy. Customer data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
8. No Chargebacks / Disputes
By completing your purchase, you agree not to dispute charges with your financial institution. Fraudulent or unauthorized disputes will be pursued to the fullest extent allowed by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not responsible for any emotional distress, personal conflicts, or financial outcomes that may arise from DNA test results. The maximum liability of the Company for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the Kit.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Marion County, IN.
